Nissan Rogue: How to Reset TPMS Light

The tire maintenance light will appear on the instrument panel of the Nissan Rogue if the system detects low tire pressure. Follow these steps to use the Easy Fill feature to ensure your tires are inflated to the right levels.

The light indicator is a notification to warn you of significantly low air pressure or high-pressure loss in your tires. Low pressure affects the vehicle’s overall performance such as:

  • How the vehicle drives
  • Increases fuel consumption
  • Tire failure

Note: Ensure your tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure.

2008 – 2023 Models

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position without starting the engine.
  2. Locate the TPMS reset button below the steering wheel on the lower left side. It may be labeled as “SET,” “RESET,” or “TPMS.”
    1. For model years 2020-2023, you may find the TPMS button inside the glove compartment.
  3. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the TPMS light blinks twice. Release the button after the light blinks.
  4. Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes. During this time, the TPMS system will reset and calibrate itself with the current tire pressures.
  5. Drive for at least 10 minutes above 16 mph.

The warning light should disappear. However, after the tires are inflated, the outdoor temperature affects how fast the air in the tires will adjust to the proper temperature. Give the tires time to adjust.

If the tire pressure warning light stays illuminated past a week, you will need to have your vehicle serviced as there could possibly be a sensor issue or a tire puncture.
