GMC Acadia: How To Set The Clock

Learn how to set the clock in your GMC Acadia with this step-by-step tutorial.

For vehicles with digital navigation screens: *Turning on the GPS TIME will allow the system to automatically adjust your time dependent on your present location. This feature will change your clock when you cross into a different time zone 

Choose the OPTION which suits your vehicle, follow the uncomplicated steps to Reset your clock: 

OPTION 1

1. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT start the ignition). 
2. Press the POWER button located in the center console/entertainment system. 
3. Press the button with a CLOCK on it to set the time. 
4. On the display, you will see HR, MIN, MM, DD, YYYY. Press the dash buttons that are located right under the display to set the hour, minute, month, day, and year OR you can turn the DIAL with the MUSIC NOTE on it to adjust each setting.
5. When you have set the desired time, press the button with a CLOCK on it again to finalize the time.

OPTION 2 – Models with Navigational Screen

1. Turn the key to the ON position (DO NOT start the ignition).
2. Tap the HOME button at the top of the screen to get to the main screen. Scroll through to find the SETTINGS by using the NEXT button at the bottom of the screen.
3. After tapping the SETTINGS button, use the DOWN ARROW to find and select the SET TIME button.
4. Use the UP and DOWN ARROWS to set the hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
5. Once you have set the desired time, tap the OK button at the bottom of the screen to finalize. 

If you are unable to set the time for your GMC Acadia on the first try, repeat the steps. If you are still unsuccessful, contact the dealership for assistance or consult your vehicle user’s manual.
